Our Lady of Fatima hoops squads ready to tip off

Happy New Year! A new year and a new beginning for all. I hope everyone has a great Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Before we went off for our break we had our annual Christmas concert at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic School. Everybody did a fantastic job! We all had an amazing time singing and performing for our parents. Thanks to Mrs. Gubbels for setting it up and also to Mrs. Atkinson for playing our music. We really appreciate it.
On January 24th the girls and boys basketball teams will be going to Holy Trinity high school for the tournament. We have all been practicing almost every day to get ready for it and I am sure we will do great, especially with Mrs. Sober and Mr. S as the coaches.
On the 21st the Grade 8 students will be participating in the confirmation retreat with other Grade 8 students in the school board. A great way to talk about what confirmation means to us and to play a couple games.
Also, on the 22nd the Grade 4-8 students will be going skating in Delhi. This is a fun and active activity for them to enjoy.
The “Souper” Bowl is about to begin again! Last year our school collected over 400 cans of food for our food drive and this year we plan to bring in more. The student safe schools team here at Our Lady Of Fatima have come up with 12 super hero teams.
Each team will have students of all ages on them and the goal is to try and bring in as many cans for your team as possible. We will get more than 400 cans this year!
Last year was a great year at school and this year will be even better. With all these fantastic staff and students we will sure have a great year.
