Two more weeks 'till Christmas!

Christmas spirit is fresh in the air after a wonderful school Advent Mass held last night at 7. Students of St. Joe's and Monsignor O'Neil School got together for our annual Advent Mass at St. Mary's Church. It was a great reminder of what Christmas is really about... AND all the students did a great job singing the songs of Christmas. Everyone did a great job!

Just a reminder to all those who ordered Poinsettias but have not picked them up: the last date to pick them up is this Sunday, December 15th.

A reminder to students to not throw snowballs in the yard. Monsignor O'Neil has a zero tolerance policy against throwing snowballs. It really is for the safety of our students and staff! If a student is caught throwing a snowball, they will receive a communication report home.

Congratulations to the boys and girls volleyball teams who have completed a successful season! Both teams did great. A big ‘thank you’ to our coaches, Miss Currado and Mr. Henry, as well as parents for their support and encouragement.

Our junior volleyball players also had a great season! They have learned many new skills; thank you so much to Mrs. Martin and Mrs. Thiessen for leading the team.

Next week is the last week of school before Christmas break! A four-day week (Friday, December 20th is a P.D. Day), filled with lots of fun! Turkey noodle soup on Wednesday and Reindeer Games on Thursday... plus a Grade 7 & 8 dance on Thursday too!
