'More than 80 milligrams' charge laid

A 50-year-old Tillsonburg male has been charged with driving with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in blood as the result of a morning RIDE check on Broadway in Tillsonburg Sunday, December 8.
The driver approached the Oxford OPP RIDE check at approximately 9:59 a.m., and was subsequently charged under the Criminal Code of Canada.
The subject vehicle was impounded for seven days and the driver given a 90-day ADLS (administrative driver’s licence suspension). He was released on a promise to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on January 28, 2014.
