Mr. Dunnigan and his crazy mustaches

It’s Movember! Help raise money for Movember by buying a picture of Mr. Dunnigan for a loonie, draw a crazy mustache on it and posting it in the hallway at school.
All people that buy a picture will be entered in a draw to win a five-pound chocolate bar! If we reach our goal of $100, then Mr. Dunnigan will colour his mustache Maple Leaf colours, blue and white on November 29th. He does not like the Maple Leafs which makes it more interesting! Help us find a way to kick cancer’s butt.
Our school Christmas concert will be held on December 11th at approximately 6:30 p.m. This is a great opportunity to celebrate Christmas and the birth of Jesus. We always have a good time at our Christmas concerts and I hope we will this year too. Please mark this date on the calendar and more information will be announced at a closer date. We hope to see you there.
Congratulations to Lucas JK/SK, Collin Grade 1/2, Reese Grade 3/4, Nicholas Grade 5/6, and Jennifer Grade 7/8 who got principal’s awards for October. The award was for stewardship and these students really showed it. Great job!
Basketball is starting up again this year and boys and girls in Grades 6,7, and 8 are putting together boys and girls teams. With Mrs. Day as the girls coach and Mrs. Sobers and Mr. S as the boys coaches, we will sure have an awesome basketball season.
On the 21st, Grades 1-4 will be going to Backus mills to participate in fun activities and on the 26th scientists will be coming to school and talking to the students in Grades 3-6.
