Despite the chilly and wet weather Monday, the annual Remembrance Day ceremony in Fairgound was well attended by the community. Under the organization of Houghton Public School Grade 4 teacher Amy DeDobbelaer and Kindergarten teacher Karen Boys, each class presented a wreath and shared their thoughts about Remembrance Day. The Grade 4 class presented a song entitled 'Highway of Heroes' to the community and received a standing ovation. (CONTRIBUTED PHOTOS)
