Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (O.P.P.) arrested and charged a male resulting from a fraud investigation involving the use of social media dating websites.
The accused is alleged to have met and developed relationships with woman through social media web sites. He would eventually meet with these victim’s and pose as a veterinarian from the United States. He would then obtain money from the victim’s using different tactics during their short relationships.
As a result of the investigation a 28-year-old male of no fixed address was arrested by police and charged under the Criminal Code of Canada

Flight While Pursued by Peace Office x 2

The male was also charged under the Highway Traffic Act with:
Drive While Under suspension
Fail to Stop for Police
The male was held for a bail hearing and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock.
