Article content

October was a great month here at Annandale School! Dances at Annandale are great. On October 31st Annandale had its first dance. It was a Halloween dance and students had a choice of wearing either a costume or orange and black clothing. The entry fee was $1 and Annandale school raised $220 and donated it to the Terry Fox Foundation. Best costume shout outs go to Dakota Walsh, Clayton McCormick and Ryan Peever.

Classes are given points when students participate in spirit days organized by the Leadership Council. Our costume day on October 31st brought our class totals to: 7A-39, 7B-68, 7C-45, 7D-30, 7E-57, 8A-56, 8B-38, 8C-60, 8D-36, 8E-36, 8F-35 and Mr. Fleet's class has 16 points.

Annandale has its annual food drive coming soon! The food drive will take place on November 19th to November 28th. If Annandale students come a knockin' at your door, be sure to support them! Your food will make it to the food bank safely without you having to drive it there. Support this great cause!

The Grade 8 students will have a chance to go to Camp Celtic this spring! Permission forms for this great trip went home on November 5th. We will go to Camp Celtic on June 5th and return to Tillsonburg on June 8th. Fundraising for the Camp Celtic trip will hopefully be starting at the end of November.

Talk to you next week Tillsonburg!
