Moylan traded to Sudbury Wolves

Former Tillsonburg minor hockey goalie Jack Moylan was traded by the OHL Junior A Kitchener Rangers to the Sudbury Wolves late Wednesday, Oct. 30.
Moylan had played two games this season for the Kitchener Rangers of the Ontario Hockey League, where he had a 1-1 record to go with a 2.02 goals against average and a .915 save percentage on the rebuilding Rangers.
He previously played with the Junior C Woodstock Navy Vets during the 2011-12 season, where he posted a 4-9 record with a 5.32 GAA and a .864 save percentage as a 16-year-old.
"Jack will add much needed depth to our goaltending position," Sudbury Wolves general manager Blaine Smith said in a release on the team's website. "Jack will remain in junior to further develop and will join the Wolves in southern Ontario should any injuries occur."
The 6-foot-2, 193-pound Moylan was the Rangers' eighth-round pick in the 2011 OHL Priority Selection. In three years with the team he compiled a 3-3 record getting into 10 games.
He was made expendable with Tyson Teichmann getting the bulk of the starts in the Rangers net and with Kitchener trading for 18-year-old Jordan DeKort from Windsor Oct. 18, the writing was on the wall for Moylan on his time with Kitchener.
The Rangers also had Kitchener Dutchmen goalie Matt Greenfield in their system pushing Moylan on the depth chart. The Dutchmen currently have one of the stronger tandems in net in the GOJHL with Greenfield and Marc Williams, so it's unknown if Moylan would return to the Dutchmen, who own his rights, or be moved elsewhere.
Kitchener Rangers general manager Murray Hiebert told the Waterloo Record Oct. 21 after the DeKort trade that he wasn't sure if Moylan would return to the Dutchmen or not after he had been a healthy scratch since the Oct. 18 trade.
For the foreseeable future, Moylan looks set to rejoin the Kitchener Dutchmen of the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League, however, it's still unknown given the Dutchmen's depth in net.
