Mini Blades voting begins Sunday

CBC has released official voting details for its Mini Battle of the Blades competition. Voting will open on Sunday, November 3 at 7:55 p.m. EST and closes on Tuesday, November 5 at 8 p.m. EST.
Langton Skating Club's winning pair, Paige Vandendriessche and Jordan Vanacker, will be highlighted on the CBC Battle of the Blades website and will compete against the six other winners from across Canada.
The grand winner, determined by the pair with the most on-line votes, will be awarded a trip to Toronto to attend the season finale of CBC's Battle of the Blades later this month.
Here are the instructions for online voting:
Go to www.cbc.ca/battle
Click “Register” and “Sign-Up” for an account.
Once you register you get 1 vote to use.
You can earn extra votes over the weekend to support Vandendriessche and Vanacker by completing simple trivia questions under the “Challenges” tab on the CBC Battle of the Blades website.
Be sure to tune into the CBC television series Battle of the Blades at 7 p.m. on Sunday, November 3 to hear more details about the Mini Battle of the Blades competition.
“Please take time to support the Langton Skating Club and Paige and Jordan by registering and casting your vote on the CBC website,” said Chris Denn, president of the Langton Skating Club, in a media release.
“This has been a great experience for the 10 mini blade pairs representing the Langton Skating Club and our local hockey associations and a once in a lifetime opportunity for our community.”
The grand winner will be announced on Thursday, November 7.
