Tractor, straw bales, grass seed targeted

A John Deere tractor tops a lengthy list of property stolen from a Lower Side Road, Houghton address early Friday, September 27.
Norfolk OPP report unknowns gained entry into a locked barn located on the property and once inside, removed a John Deere X3320 tractor with a 300 CX bucket attached. Entry of a second locked barn resulted in removal of a Whirlpool electric dryer, two large bags of grass seed and eight bales of straw. Unknowns moved on to the residence, gaining entry and once inside, removed a brown guitar amplifier, two microphones, a Homelite rototiller and two pails of concrete sealer.
The theft is estimated at approximately $37,500 dollars.
