Small school with great sports teams

Hi everyone! My name is Kieaira Lang and I am a Grade 8 student at our lady of Fatima catholic school. I was asked to write this article by my teacher Mrs. Sobers. At first I was unsure if I wanted to do this because I didn’t know what I would talk about or how much I would have to write. After I thought about it, I thought it would be a great opportunity- you only get this chance once!
I am an outdoorsy kind of girl who likes pretty much every sport. Especially volleyball! I have one sister named Kayla and trust me, she can get on my nerves sometimes, but I put up with her.
Now let’s stop talking about me! Some things that are going on at school are, most of the Grade 6’s, 7’s and 8’s are working very hard on the soccer team. Staying after school to practice almost every day and sometimes even at recess to get ready for the tournament on September 30th.
Even though we are a small school, we defiantly have some great sports teams. Thank you to our couch Mrs. Brooke!
Even though it’s only the first month of school, our little bull pups are loving it already. The 27 little kindergarten cuties have finally had the chance to come to school for the first time. We have one kindergarten class with a great teacher Mrs. Jaffray, along with two amazing helpers, Mrs. Vandeven and Mrs. Evans and of course 27 fantastic students!
We have outstanding staff and students here at our lady of Fatima and I hope we all have a great year!
As we all say, we are a small school with a big heart!
