Cooking kids

Twenty-five participants ranging in age from six to 14 years of age attended the Cooking Without The Box For Kids seminar Monday at St. Paul’s United Church. The event’s focus was on providing healthy snacks and food items kids could create, with adult supervision. Event organizers gave a hearty ‘shout out’ to chef Tracy Winkworth of Belworth House in Waterford, and her two students from Liaison College: Robert Moore and Rob Yuile for their culinary leadership. Also, thanks were extended to E Z Grow Farms (Darryl and Helen Zamenik) for donating blueberries. The next Cooking Without The Box seminar will be ‘Canning and Preserves’ scheduled for Monday, October 21. Contributed Photo
