On Field 1 our current leaders took over 1st place with another convincing performance. They jumped out to an early 2-0 1st half lead and dittoed the 2nd to cruise to win number lucky seven.

Kris Foreman led the way once again with two, followed by singles from Jordan Moncrief and Marijn Noorland.

Cocreo 6, Ontario Laser 0

Field 2 featured a lopsided affair as Cocreo took advantage of the short-staffed Laser squad. Laser gave them a good 1st half run for their money only down by two goals at the break. They ran out of gas in the 2nd as Cocreo added four more.

Leading the attack for Cocreo were Adriaan Aarnoudse and Austin Corriveau with hat tricks.

Corey’s 3, Signshop 2

Field 3 featured another important matchup as Corey’s finally ended their slump edging out the Signshop crew. It was only a 2-0 1st half lead for Corey’s with Signshop trying to make the 2nd half comeback, but just running out of time.

Corey’s gunners were Mike Mesquita, George Martinez, and Selena Martinez getting the winner. Tom Malloy and Bekki VanLeeuwen got the markers for Signshop.

Tillson Pizza 3, BCFC 2

Field 4 was another close one as two evenly matched teams battled back and forth. Pizza took the early 2-0 lead before BCFC stormed back and deadlocked it at 2-2. A late goal from Brian Rocco with only minutes remaining gave Pizza their points.

Pizza got two early goals from Nathan Beard before BCFC’s Curtis Wray banged two home including a screamer into the top corner. Goalies Derrick Harrison and Chris Coldham make some incredible saves to keep the teams even.
