Winners of the Tillsonburg Public Library's Poetry Contest were recognized at the first "Poetry on the Lawn" event held at Annandale National Historic Site on Wednesday, June 19.  The winners (clockwise from back left) were: Chris Bowyer, Jerry Sissing, Elizabeth Moss and Alexander Moss, who received Chapters gift cards as prizes for their winning submissions.

Poetry on the Lawn will continue on Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m. through July 10 at Annandale, and will feature readings from Tennyson, Longfellow and Burns. All poetry enthusiasts are welcome to attend. If you are interested in reading a poem or two at one of the events, contact Sydnie at the Tillsonburg Public Library for more information, 519-842-5571.
