League Games Week 1
Friday, May 31
Opening Day
Ontario Laser 5, JCW Floor & Tile 0
Our opening match of the 2013 season on Field 1 featured a close 1st half as Laser took an early 2-0 lead.
The 2nd was much of the same shutting down the Flooring crew. Leading the way for Laser was Joe Oliveira with a pair and singles from Terry Pittao, Paul Crowder and Joe Lopes. Jordan Fitzpatrick got the shutout.
Pettman’s Auctioneering 3, Ostrander’s 0
On Field 2 it was a tight defensive 1st half as the Auction crew opened up a slim 1-0 half lead. The Auctioneers upped the bidding in the 2nd and notched home another two. Ryan Chisholm got two and Mike VandenBrink the single. Jared Pettman recorded the shutout.
Corey’s Restaurant 5, Tillson Pizza 0
Our Field 3, Corey’s opened up an early but slim 1-0 1st half edge. The 2nd was all Corey’s as Dimitri Papadakos had the hot foot pounding out four with the help of Mike Mesquita’s single. Ricky Burnett recorded the 3rd shutout of the week.
Computer Station 3, Cocreo 1
On Field 4, it was another close 1st half with Computer jumping out to a 2-0 1st half lead. Marijn Noorland led the way offensively for Computer banging home all three. Cocreo’s Aalt Pelleboer finally broke the shutout.
BCFC 4, Signshop 4
Field 8 featured the closest battle of the day as both teams had numerous chances to win. BCFC score early and edged out to a 3- 2 1st half lead before Signshop scored two late ones to equalize.
Signshop had a penalty shot but they were thwarted by some solid goaltending from BC’s Trevor Lamb. BCFC’s Curtis Wray opened up with a hat trick and a Nicole Massih single. Max Evanitski led his Signshop squad with three and Mike Beal got a single.

Field 3 - JCW Floor vs Ostrander’s
Field 4 - Ontario Laser vs Signshop
Filed 8 - Pettman Auction vs Tillson Pizza
