TDMH Volunteer Association elects new board

The TDMH Volunteer Association held its Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, May 15th at the hospital. At that meeting, the new board was elected and is pictured, above. Board members in the photo include, left to right: Secretary Don Jones, Director Orio Fishleigh, Director Betty VanThuyne, Director Carole Beselaere, 1st Vice President Donna Scanlan, Director Phil Harrison, President Ann Beaudoin, Past President John Haldane, 2nd Vice President Lynne Burns, Director Liz Lessif, Director Sue Saelens and Treasurer Tim Charlton. Also, at this meeting, Treasurer Charlton presented Hospital Board Chair Duaine Nelson with the TDMH Volunteers Association’s annual donation to the hospital – a cheque in the amount of $83,000. Finally, four new Life Memberships were awarded (for long and meritorious service to the Volunteer Association) to: Duaine Nelson, John Cook, Joan McKean and Betty VanThuyne.
