Dennis Verbruggen of Dengrow Inc. and a tobacco planting gang including driver Rick, and planters Kevle Chin, Everton Morrison, Lennon Witten and Linval Smith were making steady progress Monday morning in a field along Potters Road. With tobacco acreage rising slightly this year, the activity is a popular one in the area, particularly given warmer long-term weather forecasts. Jeff Tribe/Tillsonburg News
