Spring’s long-awaited arrival burst upon the area this past weekend, with a massive explosion of floral growth throughout Oxford and Norfolk Counties. Perhaps due to its compacted nature, dog-toothed violets, white, red and rare variegated trilliums were in simultaneous full bloom Sunday in a North Walsingham woodlot. Jeff Tribe/Tillsonburg News
