Flooding forces location change of Ingersoll Bowl for Kids Sake

The Ingersoll portion of the 29th annual Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl for Kids Sake set for May 2 to 4 has been forced to change locations.
Flooding at Ingersoll Lanes has necessitated the move. The Ingersoll event will be held at Broadway Lanes in Tillsonburg May 2 to 4. The Tillsonburg portion of the event, sponsored by Tim Hortons, is also being held at Broadway Lanes May 10-11. Ingersoll's event will return to Ingersoll Lanes next year.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ingersoll, Tillsonburg & Area executive director Deb Landon said the agency is still looking for teams to help reach the $48,000 goal.
“The agency relies on community support to continue to offer their mentoring programs and services,” Landon said. “This year they need the community’s support even more. Over 250 children were serviced last year and the numbers continue to increase.”
Consider entering your team of four to seven people - whether it is family members, friends or co-workers. At a minimum $30 in pledges there are great incentives for those participants who go the “extra mile”.
