Two charged in million dollar fraud

Police have arrested two Norfolk County residents in an investment fraud they say totalled more than $1 million and involved multiple victims.
Police say the victims “had dealings” with a company called Allrich Investments between 1994 and 2011.
An investigation was started following a complaint in 2007, which led to three more complaints and then 13 more, police said.
“These are long investigations. They do take time,” said Norfolk OPP Const. Ed Sanchuk.
Sanchuk said police believe there are more victims out there and want to hear from them.

Charged with 17 counts of fraud each are Wolfgang Joseph Friedrich, 62, and Monique Adriana Friedrich, 52.
They will appear in court at a later date.
