O'Neil gymnasts meet the challenge

This past week, we have had a major gymnastics meet, a family math night, and a French Club activity.
On Tuesday, February 26th the students on the gymnastics team went to the Agriplex in London for their annual gymnastics meet. Students had many events to choose from including a little group, or the big group, or both. There were many of students who wanted to try out for the little groups and many made it. The routines are great and they all placed well!
Also on February 26th our school held a Passport Night where, after school, students brought their families and went classroom-to-classroom completing math questions. When each family was done they went to the gym to get a piece of cake and to put their passport in a draw to win iTunes cards.
There were also many more prizes to win by buying tickets and putting the tickets in the prize box that you wanted. We hope all the families had a great time!
Madame Rigby’s French Club activity this month involved the creation of marshmallow Bonhommes, in honour of le Carnaval de Québec!
