A 'girls night out' in Tillsonburg

If you’re a woman looking to enjoy a night out with the ladies, look no further. ‘Just a Girl’s Indulgence’ will provide women exactly that.

The local fundraiser for the Station Arts Centre in Tillsonburg, invites all women to kick back, relax and focus some much needed time and attention on themselves during one evening of indulgence.

“We wanted to do a new fundraiser to raise more money for the Station Arts Centre and we decided on a girls night, where you can come over to Marcel’s - Chrissy’s Catering, for an evening of pampering,” said co-organizer Suzanne Fleet.

The event, hosted by the Station Arts Centre, takes place at the Carriage Hall on Brock Street West on Friday, March 1, 2013 and runs from 7 p.m. until 11 p.m. It will include everything from massages, hand facials, a fashion show, hors d’oeuvres, yoga and zumba demonstrations, a cash bar, loot bags, giveaways and door prizes.

“You’ve worked hard all week, you’ve taken care of the kids all week and come Friday night, you’ve maxed yourself out,” said Fleet. “You’re ready for a little bit of indulgence, pampering and fun. This is what this night is going to be all about, and it’s women only - men stay home on this one.”

Fleet said the evening will be an opportunity to unwind and relax and also meet some new faces or friends from the area.

“You could come out and network or just socialize, come out and see what the spring trends are going to be in fashion, have a massage, or a hand facial.”

Tickets for the event will be sold in advance only at the Station Arts Centre and are $30 each. There are only 100 tickets being sold for ‘Just a Girl’s Indulgence.’

“There will be finger foods provided by Marcel, from Chrissy’s Catering, chocolate nibbles from Ambrosia and there will be a cash bar. Tickets include everything except for the bar,” explained Fleet.

Organizers at the Station Arts Centre are anticipating a good turnout for the first ‘Just a Girl’s Indulgence’ fundraising event, and encourage all women of any age to come out and enjoy themselves and good company.

“Any lady that wants to go out and have a very enjoyable evening – this is the place to do it,” Fleet concluded.

Tickets are available at the Station Arts Centre, 41 Bridge Street West in Tillsonburg or for more information email: sfleet@stationarts.ca or call (519) 842-3146
