Annual Breakfast with Santa

The Tillsonburg Kinette Club is presenting its annual fundraiser, Breakfast with Santa, on Saturday, Dec. 8, from 8:30-11 a.m.

Children are invited to meet Santa Claus Saturday in the Lions Auditorium at the Tillsonburg Community Centre.

The Kinettes are a local service club that “support a variety of community programs and services,” said Tillsonburg Kinette president Tammy Kyle.

The Breakfast with Santa menu will consist of pancakes, sausages, juice and coffee. The cost is $4, and it is busy. Usually the turnout is around 400 people.

"We usually get a lot of response."

The Kinettes set a fundraising goal of $2,000, which would require a turnout of 500 people.

After the breakfast, children will have an opportunity to sit on Santa's lap, share their Christmas lists, and pose for a photo opportunity.

They will also be able to take part in a colouring contest for children up to 12 years of age. There will be two divisions for under and over seven-years-old. Prizes will be awarded. So, kids, get out your inner artist! Colouring sheets must be handed in Saturday morning.

Kinette president Tammy Kyle and vice-president Carrie Smith would like to give a big thank you to all community sponsors and volunteers who have contributed thus far.

“It is our biggest fundraiser,” said Kyle “It takes a lot of time and effort."

So come out and enjoy a Breakfast with Santa!
