Two hurt in head-on crash east of Aylmer: OPP

Two people were hurt in a head-on crash that closed Talbot Line east of Aylmer Wednesday afternoon, provincial police say.

Two people were hurt in a head-on crash Wednesday afternoon that closed Talbot Line east of Aylmer, provincial police say.

Emergency crews called to the 1:40 p.m. collision on Talbot between Heritage Line and Springer Hill Road found two vehicles badly damaged, Elgin OPP said.

Both drivers were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, one of them by helicopter, police said. There were no passengers in either vehicle.

Talbot Line near the crash scene was expected to remain closed for several hours while police investigated, OPP said.
